I Get By With a Little Help From My Friends

For over 15 years, Joy Set Entertainment has thrived in the Greenville, SC area.  During that time we have done thousands of birthday parties, school shows, company picnics, and library shows.  And thanks to my "friends" I have never had to cancel an entertainment event.  One of the guarantees of Joy Set Entertainment is that "The Show Must Go On."  Joy Set is a family owned business, and we like other families encounter sicknesses or pressing family situations that sometimes conflict.  But that is where my friends come in.  They are happy to help me help you.

First of all there is JD the balloon guy.  He is known by many names (Jay Dee, J.D., or simply that balloon guy).  I am glad to know him as a true friend.  JD is a top notch balloon twister in Greenville, SC.  In fact I only know of a few others that can compete with him.  If I ever can not do an event, JD is the first one that I contact.  And if JD can not do an event, he will be recommending the Tie Dye Balloon Guy and Joy Set Entertainment.  I am grateful that I not only have a friend that can help cover birthday party entertainment for me, but one that will encourage me and push me to develop my talent further as a balloon artist.

Marcie (aka "The Balloon Fairy") is another talented friend that I am proud to associate with.  Her company provides balloon twisting and magic primarily for the Asheville, NC area.  However she too has been willing to help me out when I need it.  Marcie is a great friend that maintains a positive hopeful outlook on life.  I appreciate her nurturing side.  She is great with kids at birthday parties, libraries, and company promotions.  And her talents wow the adults as well.

When I need a little magic from my friends, I turn to Steve Holt.  Steve is a talented magician from Spartanburg, SC.  But it is just as likely you have seen his magic in Greenville or Anderson as well.  He really gets around.  I have been very blessed to work many events alongside Steve, or to have Steve cover events for me.

Since I am the former president of the Clown Connection of Greenville, a club for area clowns to meet and learn, I know dozens of clowns all over the SC area.  There are too many to mention here, but all of them have special talents from juggling to walkaround jokes to facepainting.  If you ever need a professional clown for your birthday party or for a singing telegram, give Joy Set a call.  If I can't do the event myself, one of my friends certainly can.

I have not even started talking about all of my entertainer friends.  There is Ralph, Vicky, Gene, Lee, Kristen, and more.  I guess we will have to continue this next time
